Other then hire a bunch underage kids and tell them that in exchange for their help moving you will buy them a micky of their choice, cos we already did that.

(I really do want help for this though)

go to home depot and pick up some mexicans. I've done this 5 different times for myself and family. It's cheap and they are good.

If it's a cross-country move, your screwed. Most of those moving services take 15-20 days to get your furniture and everything to the destination. You end up with an empty place, waiting for them to come.

But if it's a local move, definitely hire moving guys. You can find cheap people. We move a lot and usually hire guys with goofy names like, "Three Men and a Truck." They are super fast! You really don't wanna do this yourself. Especially if you have heavy things like a washer and dryer or a sofa with a fold-out bed. So let the big, burly men do it for you.

Make sure you label each box with which room it goes in. So the movers know where to place it. The last thing you want is for them to just toss the boxes anywhere. That will triple your unpacking time. So put "KITCHEN" or "LIVING ROOM" in big, bold letters on the boxes.

Use you blankets and sheets to wrap fragile things.

I can't think of anything else.

I'm sorry that I don't have any suggestions that wouldn't end up with this account getting suspended. But you could offer them each a *******.

While packing, throw out the things that are not really necessary. Pack by the room and don't mix room contents with other rooms. Label boxes with the room they will go to in the new place. If possible, make a list of what is in each box with the room name and box number on it so you can find items easily when needed. Pack items that will be needed immediately in their own boxes and mark clearly. When unloading at the new place, take the boxes to the room they go in right away.
