Tips for dogs moving in together?

My boyfriend and I are moving in with some friends soon. We have two dogs (a 5 lb Yorkie and a 6 lb Shih Tzu mix) and they have two dogs (a 20 lb jack russel mix and a 35 lb border collie/husky mix). Each pair of dogs has only ever lived with each other. Any tips for making this a smooth transition?

You should try to make them play together! If it gets a little too rough, then stop it and let them sniff eachother and meet. Good luck ;3

Have them in different cages and when you get to the house have them in separate rooms.
