How can I protect cockroaches from moving with me when I move?

I recently noticed cockroaches in my apartment, we have lived here for almost 6 years and this is the first time we've seen any so I know they're coming from somewhere else in the building. I don't think the building is going to do anything about it so we are just planning on moving. What is the best way we can prevent they from moving with us? We also don't have much money for furniture and things like that so I'm really not sure what we can do. Please HELP!

I am so sorry to tell you this but the only way to deal with this problem is to strip ***** and get rid of everything – start over fresh.
My husband has dealt with this with bombing cars to get rid of them and they don't die, even with bombs!!!!!
You have to just start fresh.

Get some foggers, and use them immediately to get rid of the roaches.
Or use them at least a week before you move. Get enough so you can fog the new place before you move in.
